The Town Ranch

The Ranch is one of the available Town Buildings. You can reach the Ranch through the Town Center. At the ranch you can buy, feed and maintain your Animals.

All Seekers begin with one fenced area to house an animal but can expand their ranch further until they can keep up to 9 animals at the time. Each animal has to be daily fed in order to keep it alive. This can be done by the player spending 1 stamina per animal or by hiring the follower "Porkard the Pig Tenderer".

At the Ranch there are 5 different animals that can be bought from the town (if they are available). Each town has a Councillor who's responsible for the production of sufficient animals.

Demolish your Ranch Expansions:

Since December 2016 it is possible to demolish your Ranch Expansions. This is particularly handy when you decide to another town. Demolishing a Ranch Expansion returns between 25% and 75% of the Wood and Iron Nails previously used. The amount depends on the Sustaining Skill of the Seeker and the amount of stamina (1 stamina adds 1%) used for demolishing.

Salvation % (maximum 75%):
 + 25% base
+ 0.5% for each point on the Sustaining Skill
+ 1% for each stamina spend

Hint: When you do the Tutorial Quest "The Scrawny Chicken" you'll receive 60 Iron Nails and 40 Wood to expand your ranch.

Slaughter an Animal:

If an animal exceeds its maximum age, it will most likely die. When this happens the owner won't receive any meat. Slaughter animals by their the maximum age. This requires a Butcher's Knife to be equipped. The durability of the knife decreases each time it is used, until it breaks.

Animal Breeding:

All animals are produced by the town in their Breeding program. A town without a breeding program will run out of animals. Seekers can improve their Animal Attitude Skill by helping the town with their Breeding Program in the Labor hall in exchange for a wage.
